Launching of the 3rd call for projects
Launched in April 2017, Géofab aims to help entrepreneurs established on both sides of the border to create new digital services thanks to the Greater Geneva geodata. The principle? Make the exploitation of the « geodata » easier by selecting and supporting 24 innovative french/swiss digital projects via 4 calls for projects on 2 years.

A Géofab Hackathon will be organized in order to support the emergence of projects within the framework of Open Geneva, an open innovation festival that will be held (form 12 to 15 Avril 2018 in Geneva).
• January 31, 2018: opening of the 3rd Géofab call for projects of the Grand Genève
• June 24, 2018: deadline for applications
• End of August 2018: selection committee deliberation
• Mid-September 2018: announcement of results and launch of the 4th call for projects
The initiative is supported by the European Union through the program Interreg France Suisse, le Grand Genève, the University of Geneva, the Republic and Canton of Geneva, le Pôle métropolitain du Genevois français, the IGN, the Canton of Vaud, the City of Nyon and Régionyon, Swiss Topo, SITG, FER-Genève, Imaginove, FrenchTech in the Alps and CITIA.
