The Information Technology to the Service of the City

“Urban Computing” is the intersection of information technologies and sectors related to urban spaces such as civil engineering, environment, economy, ecology, culture and sociology. Our OpenLab n°7 invites you to visit some laboratories at hepia Geneva, member of the HES-SO University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland, where you will discover the latest projects led by the Institute for IT Engineering and Telecommunications (inIT) in the field of Urban Computing. InIT researchers will present the related technologies such as embedded systems, the Internet of Things, security, intelligent interfaces as well as “data sciences and computational intelligence”.

You will also have the opportunity to share experiences, discuss solutions to your challenges and explore potential collaborations.
